Urunwa Arts
Hi! I’m Chidimma URUNWA Ikegwuonu, a Multidisciplinary and socially engaged artist currently working from Manchester, United Kingdom.
My work is rooted in storytelling. I use painting to explore themes of identity, culture, feminism, femininity, the environment, and gender inequality.
Through vibrant colours, rich textures, and emotive compositions, I aim to capture both personal and collective experiences that shape who we are and tell stories of the past and present stories that words often can’t express.
Art, for me, has always been a space for reflection and expression, a bridge between imagination and reality.
As a socially engaged artist, I’m deeply interested in how art can inspire dialogue, connection, and change within communities.
My work has been exhibited around the world and featured in recognised publications.
